These did the trick of having something to wear to a wedding that I could put my orthotics in, but the odd shape makes them uncomfortable, and the peekaboo window by the heel shows off the orthotics, which isn't very attractive. The wide width is fine for the ball of the foot. However, the shape of the toe box is strangely narrow: it cuts in sharply after the ball of the foot so that the last two twos are pinched and rubbed. These would be great for people who have only 3 toes, but not for the rest of us. They appear to have been designed by someone with A or B width feet who doesn't understand that the whole foot shape is different for people with wide feet. I changed into my unfashionable shoes as soon as I could. The purchase was not worth the price.
