Wide forefoot, narrow heel, and the need for a roomy toe-box make a tough foot to fit. This shoe works for me, with room for my orthotics. It is soft enough not to squeeze and supportive enough for a lot of walking. And it's not clunky looking. The 7W seems true to size.
